1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as browser local storage and pixels, perform comparable functions. They may be set by us (first-party) or by our service providers (third-party), and may last only for your session or persist for a defined period.
2. How we use them
We aim to keep our use of cookies and similar technologies proportionate. We use them to operate the Service securely, to remember session and authentication state, to enforce free-tier usage limits, and to understand and improve how the Service performs.
3. Categories we use
- Strictly necessary — required for the Service to function, including authentication, session management, security and usage-limit enforcement. These cannot be switched off through our interface.
- Functional — remember your preferences and settings to improve your experience.
- Analytics and performance — help us understand usage and diagnose issues so we can improve the Service. Where required, these are used only with your consent.
4. Providers that may set cookies
Cookies and similar technologies on the Service may be associated with the following providers, used for the purposes indicated:
- Supabase — authentication and session state (strictly necessary).
- Vercel — secure delivery and performance (strictly necessary / functional).
- Stripe — payment processing and fraud prevention when you transact (strictly necessary for payments).
- PostHog and Microsoft Clarity — product analytics and usage insight (analytics).
- Sentry — error diagnostics (functional / performance).
These providers process data in accordance with their own policies. We govern their handling of personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Managing your choices
Where we use non-essential cookies that require consent, you can manage your choice through the cookie controls presented on the Service. You can also control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them. Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the Service from working.
6. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as our use of cookies evolves; the current version and effective date are shown above. For questions, contact privacy@tamrx.co.uk.
